Welcome to TCB Italian Greyhounds. My name is Trevor Butler. I have been involved in dogs most of my life. Growing up in Australia my parents bred Dobermans, German Shepherds, Border Collies and Australian Cattle Dogs. As an adult my breeds have been Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Bichon Frise and Italian Greyhounds.
When I moved to the USA in the early 90's I obtained my first American Italian Greyhound from Donna Power of Rohan Italian Greyhounds. "Travis" was shown to his championship and had a nice show career. Then along came "Vega" who really did not like the show ring, but has been a wonderful companion and has produced some lovely puppies.
I have bred several litters in the USA and although not all the puppies ended up in the showring they have made many families wonderful companions. I breed for the sole purpose of producing the next show Italian Greyhound for me. It does not always work out, but the ones that have been kept for the show ring have done well.
I have worked for several Top Professional Handlers and Breeders here in the USA. I have had the pleasure of working with Barb Biesel; Joan Huber of Blythewood Miniature Schnauzers; Nick and Ellen Frost of Deha Petite Basset Griffon Vandeens; and have been with Doug and Rita Holloway for about 10 years. Doug won the Westminster Kennel Club Show with the great Standard Schnauzer "PA".

Welcome to Marlord Italian Greyhounds. My name is Fran Marron. I was raised with dogs all my life. They were a part of our family. My Dad used to hunt, thus beagles, coonhounds and labs were always in and out of the house.
I rode horses for many years and my dogs were always around. I had a toy fox terrier, German Shepard and a Shepard-retriever mix breed at different times of my life. After the horses, I became involved with Dobermans and I still love them dearly. I bred and showed them to their championship. Nina is now 12 years old and going strong.
I was introduced quite by accident to the Italian Greyhounds. I wanted a smaller breed for companionship. While I was showing the Dobes I was introduced to Donna Powers who sold me my first IG. Jazz was shown to her championship. She gave me a beautiful litter. Her children and grandchildren are on the following pages, along with my other iggys.
Marlord is located in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey
